There is in fact stuff in the works. But they're very slow works.

I also have a lot of drawings at the same general standard as my previous work on here that I simply haven't put up (I put up The Gang because I was desperate and Yet Another Hallmark Moment because I liked it at the time). If I can get a general consensus that you guys want it scanned, once the scanner stops being all weird, just raise your left hand and say aye.

Oh, well, back to planning. I actually have this big piece I've been mulling over... but I can see it taking a long time and a lot of effort and basically I'll end up giving up and posting the scraps and broken dreams on here. Which is alright I suppose because the piece I have in mind is in fact not allowed on deviantART and deviantART has no part in my little crimes. ;3

I'll be seeing ya, eventually. (Work, Photoshop, work...! I'm going even more crazy!)

PS, my last journal's mood was "seasonal", and when I switched it over the picture changed a little while after the actual words, so for a second or two there I was "*happy little Christmas tree* DISTRESSED OMG" xD

I'm really sorry, loyal watchers (if I even have any). I know it's been ages, I do -- it hurts me more than it hurts you -- and I've been trying to get some art done. Because Photoshop refuses to function on my personal computer, I have to use my parents' if I want to art, which is not the funnest thing ever. I also have profound mistrust for dad's new and spiffy scanner.

I am, however, working on it. I have a good reason to, too -- my mum asked me to send some art to the German school I've been admitted to for August next year, and I have nothing I could show to someone outside friends, family and the faceless people online without dying of shame. D:

I've been doing a lot of traditional work that I plan to clean up and digitally colour, and most of it is human(oid). However, for the fans who are holding out for something interesting and possibly character-related, the best I have are two terrible Dollys and a mildly awful Sandy. THERE IS SO MUCH... JUNK!

I've started work at an anime store... It's a lot of fun and often there's very little work. This week I'm saving up for a statue for Gabi, but last week I had a barrel of laughs spending my wage on merch from the store. I have a Fullmetal Alchemist wall scroll (broken when I attempted to carry it horizontally through a doorway), an FMA watch (broken exactly an hour after I set it), a pocketwatch set (which comes with a charm on a chain and a ring), and a really awesome Death Note bag which actually looks like a note. When you open the flap you can read the rules of the Death Note on the inside. xD

Well... I'll be switching computers now, to the one with Photoshop and a tablet, so I can do some arting. 8D (I started a piece on my new character, Sweet, but I think I'll work on a picture of Dolly instead.)

Big news: I just broke 100 watchers and 1000 watched :3 I get about three hundred deviation messages a day, but I turned off a lot of journals so I only get like twenty of those suckers.

My last watcher was Mittagessen, who is free to claim a prize for that any time (though who would want to?), and my last watched was xayla, who, like my thousand other watched, is an excellent artist :3

To clarify my friends are included in the thousand, there's maybe twenty of them :3

Someday I will post a list that will consume the Earth!

So today was the big day, for my mated pair of Superb Parrots, Molly and Guido. We offered them to an excellent fauna park near Phillip Island, and today we drove them out there and signed them over.

The guy there was really nice. He was happy to accept Molly and Guido, and gave us free passes for anytime we wanted to visit the park.

Then he took us to the cage. It's quite a brilliant cage, at least three times as long as the modest aviary Molly and Guido lived in here. It had two more male and one female Superbs, an eldery Princess and some Turquoise Parrots.

And there were guinea pigs on the floor of the aviary.


So, everyone, meet Guinness. He's about as long as my hand, dark brown ticked with gold and black, with a creamy-brown belly. He has a little black marking running down from his left eye, like a cheetah. His paws and claws are black. He likes to sit quietly and (oddly enough) listen to emo rock.

Absolicious's first guinea pig says: "...Weeeeeeee! o_o"
